I call BS and all things unfair. Walmart is turning select parking lots into a family friend, fun, drive-in event, and my state didn’t make the cut. Boo!

These events are going to be traveling popup, drive-in experiences, and I’m so jealous right now.

Walmart has partnered with Tribeca Film Festival to host about 160 popup parking lot theaters in Walmart parking lots across the U.S. between August 14th and October 21st.

The movies that are going be at each of these pop-up locations include: Ghostbusters, The Wizard of Oz, Goonies, Space Jam, ET, Spy Kids, Spider-ManTM: Into The Spider-Verse, Black Panther, Wonder Woman, and Friday Night Lights. It is just luck of the draw as to which movie YOUR Walmart will host.

This is a FREE event, but you have to reserve your tickets, and they WON’T be giving any out at the door.

And, a word to the wise — these showings have already “sold out” in SO many locations. If one is open near you, you best JUMP on the virtual reservation system to reserve your tickets!

Gates will open at 6pm, and the movie will start promptly at 7:30pm.

There will be concessions available, and they will be delivered right to your car!

Not only that — there will be celebrities on hand at certain locations, so you may just get lucky, and see Jennifer Garner, Chrissy Metz, or LeBron James — or maybe a few others.

To see if there are locations in YOUR state that are hosting this pop-up drive-in theater experience, you can go HERE. You just have to put in your zip code, and then scroll down to see availability.

If it doesn’t show any results for your area, clear out the “Search” bar, and “Search” again. Then scroll down, and it will list ALL 160 locations that are participating in this even.

You are SO lucky if you get to go to one!! I bet this is going to be SUPER-FUN!!

I guess I can always drive to Tennessee or South Carolina to attend one of these drive-in experiences. Maybe I’ll see you there!
