Target is joining the face mask bandwagon!

Target just announced that they will begin requiring all customers to wear face masks while shopping in their stores. The policy is effective as of August 1, 2020.

Target is one of the largest retailers that have joined the requirement of face masks including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Kroger, Best Buy, Starbucks and many others.

As COVID-19 cases spike in the U.S. it is great to see retailers like this do what they can to keep people in their stores, both customers and employees, safe.

As of right now, more than 80% of Target’s 1,800 stores already require customers to wear masks due to local and state regulations so this might not be much of a change.

Target also said that they will hand out masks at entrances to those who need them.

Let me just say, please don’t be that person that starts a fight with someone over wearing a mask. I promise, it isn’t going to kill you to wear one while you shop around Target. And if it really will, then choose to shop online and do car pickup.
