‘Virgin River’ Season 5 Is About To Drop And Here’s Everything You Need To Know

It seems like we have been waiting FOREVER for Season 5 of Virgin River.

That’s the problem with streaming, right? We binge a show in like 2 days, and then we have to wait forever for the next season to come out.

Don’t even get me started on Handmaid’s Tale!

Now, we originally thought that Virgin River was going to drop during the summer of 2023, but that just isn’t going to happen.

That dang writers strike is putting a damper on everything!

If you have been living under a rock, and haven’t yet jumped on the Virgin River bandwagon, you may want to do that.

It’s a pretty amazing show.

What is Virgin River about?

The show centers on a midwife who is also a nurse practitioner named Mel Monroe (played by Alexandra Breckenridge).

She takes a job in the small Northern California town of Virgin River, and she has to try to fit in with all the townsfolk.

I probably don’t have to tell you that trying to fit into a small tight community isn’t always the easiest thing to do.

Virgin River is based on a series of novels by Robyn Carr — which are also pretty awesome books. (You can check them out on the Amazon website HERE.)

What We Know About Virgin River Season 5

Virgin River was originally supposed to come out in July, but it got pushed back. So, if you have been anxiously waiting for it to drop in July, you will have to wait just a little bit longer.

This is my favorite thing. Virgin River Season 5 will be 12 episodes. That’s a whole 2 more episodes than we are used to in previous seasons of the show.

And, here’s the news you’ve all been waiting for! Virgin River Season 5 is set to premiere September 7th on Netflix.
