Social media has gone crazy for that vibrant, pretty, damn near fluorescent Pink Sauce that is all over TikTok.
People are pouring it on chicken, gyros, shrimp, burgers, and anything else they can get their hands on.
I have to admit, it’s gorgeous.
If you’ve seen it, you might have found yourself spending some time wondering what it tastes like.
Should you try it?!?
Resist the urge.
This thick Pink Sauce is giving us major Pepto Bismol vibes, and it currently has the internet up in arms.
What Is The Pink Sauce That Has Gone Viral On TikTok?
Carly Pii is a food content creator and a personal chef based in Florida.
She is also the creator of the Pink Sauce that has gone viral on TikTok.
According to the website that sells the Pink Sauce, it includes dragon fruit (the ingredient that creates that pink hue), honey, sunflower seed oil, garlic, and chili pepper.
Sounds kinda good, right?!?
Many are saying it tastes similar to ranch — a sweet ranch.
But, here’s the problem.
First of all, it sells for $20. TWENTY BUCKS!! That’s a bit on the pricey end — even for a gorgeously viscous condiment that seems to cling to food.
If the price doesn’t phase you, consider that the production of this Pink Sauce isn’t regulated in any way.
It is absolutely not safe to buy unregulated food from strangers on a social media platform just because it has gone viral. — It’s different if, let’s say you see someone from your city has started a small food business online and sells daily meals and you get it delivered fresh and hot to your home or office.

Yahoo even reported that, “customers on TikTok have noticed the color and consistency of the sauce is not the same across the board.”
There isn’t any safety or consistency in packaging or production, and some are even saying that the bottles of the Pink Sauce they purchased arrived opened or leaking.
I am literally being tortured because I won’t give answers to people in regards to my safety as a business owner. — I have a right to reserve my silence, so that triggered them to dig deep to harass me.

There was also an entire batch that went out with a faulty label. It alluded to the fact that the Pink Sauce might contain more servings than it actually does.
The grams got mixed up with the serving size. It’s about 30 servings per container. It was a mistake. We fixed the issue.

People are concerned that the sauce hasn’t been approved by the FDA.
Others are concerned that some of the ingredients might cause sickness, including botulism.
Now, even with all the concerns, the Pink Sauce is currently sold out on their website.
I mean, you can try it at your own risk, and grab a bottle of the Pink Sauce when it becomes available.
But, I’m definitely not brave enough to try something that someone I don’t personally know made (I’m guessing) in their kitchen.
At least not until it’s FDA approved. LOL!
