After a long, hard day nothing makes me happier than settling into a hot, relaxing bath. Dimmed lights, my fully charged Kindle, and these Sleepy Time Bath Bombs are all I need to wash my worries away. More than that, it’s time to myself. No kids, no responsibilities, no deadlines…that time belongs to me. If I could wish anything for you today it would be that you take some time for yourself – you’re important and you deserve to be pampered. Enjoy!
What You Need To Make Sleepy Time Bath Bombs:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup epsom salts
- 3/4 teaspoon water
- 2 teaspoons essential oil (lavender)
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
- purple food coloring (if desired)
- dried lavender (if desired)
- a small mini muffin pan
How To Make Sleepy Time Bath Bombs:
In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients (baking soda, cream of tartar, cornstarch, epsom salt, and dried lavender).
In a separate, smaller bowl, combine wet ingredients (water, oils, and food coloring).
Slowly pour the contents of the liquid bowl into the dry bowl, stirring as you go. When combined it should resemble wet sand and when you squeeze some in your fist, it should hold together. If it does not, add a few drops of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Tightly pack mixture into the muffin pan and let dry for at least 24 hours.
