Dear Everyone, Why Are You Panic Buying Toilet Paper Again?

Y’all… what is going on? Is there some strain of explosive diarrhea I am unaware of?

Seriously, STOP with the panic buying of toilet paper.

I mean, I get why we were all panic buying TP back in March when lockdowns occurred because people thought at the time that COVID caused diarrhea but now that isn’t a symptom, why are we doing it again?

Is it the fear you’ll be stuck at home for long periods of time and not be able to properly wipe after you do #2?

Trust me, if all else fails, a good ol’ wet towel will do the trick or ya know, a shower.

But seriously, I went to my local Target the other night for a few things and I saw this:

WTH?

While stores like Target are limiting the amount you can buy to 1 pack, other stores haven’t done it so far and are BEGGING people to stop panic buying toilet paper.

Unless you have 100 kids, you don’t need all that dang toilet paper.

I mean, last time this happened, I saw so many elderly not be able to get any on their weekly shopping trips.

So, for the love of all things, please just STOP. Stop the panic buying of toilet paper.

Buy a reasonable amount and leave some for everyone else. I promise, you will be okay without a giant stockpile of those white squares.
