Netflix Just Released The Trailer For 'Fate: The Winx Saga' And The Fairies Are So Cool

The new show coming to Netflix is a ‘Winx Club’ remake called ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’. It’s a live-action remake of the cartoon that came out on Nickelodeon in 2010.

‘Winx Club’ was one of the longest-running and one of the most popular shows on Nickelodeon. The new live-action version follows a teenage fairy warrior named Bloom and her friends.

That is where they must learn to master their magical powers while navigating love, rivalries and the monsters that threaten their very existence.

They are at Alfea College which is a magical boarding school. It’s a 6 part series and is produced by Brian Young. Brian was the co-executive producer for the ‘Vampire Diaries’.

The series stars Abigail Cowen (‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’) as Bloom. Also starring in the series is Hannah Van Der Westhuysen, Eliot Salt, Elisha Applebaum, and Precious Mustapha.

It looks like the remake is much darker than the cartoon. The trailer looks pretty cool though! I really think I’ll give the show a try when it comes out on January 22nd, 2021!
