Considering there are several hot cocoa flavors to choose from, this new way to make hot chocolate certainly conquers all!

A thicker and creamier substitute to make you warm on the inside while it’s snowing outside, this hot chocolate is different from its competitors, and for obvious reasons.

Introducing French Hot Chocolate!

Tthanks to TikToker @wholesomehedonista who shared the recipe online, the viral video shows step by step instructions on how to make your own cup of french hot cocoa and it’s super simple; so let me walk you through it!

Starting with a king sized bar of dark chocolate, Hershey’s will do, chop the entire bar in smaller pieces and throw in a mixing bowl.

Pour in one to two tablespoons of maple syrup over top, a pinch of salt, and a splash of vanilla.

1/4 teaspoon of espresso powder will give you the caffeine boost you need throughout the day and a pinch of cinnamon layered on top for taste.

1/4 cup of coconut cream and 3/4 cup of almond milk should also be added into the mix.

Mix well with a whisk and pour into your favorite mug or tea cup for a pretty aesthetic.

Light a candle, sit back, relax and enjoy the extra thick and creamier hot cup of cocoa, and please, don’t forget the extra creamy whipped cream.
