Getting SO frustrated with my roofing company…

I mean seriously… my roofing company, CLC Roofing is like driving me up the wall… they were supposed to be a good roofing company, they are local, from Coppel, and when I searched for Roofing Companies in Lewisville, Texas they seemed to have a good reputation, but I have no idea how they got it…

This whole thing started in April when baseball size hail obliterated my roof…. so, I we called our insurance company, they came out, looked at stuff, and mailed us a check to take care of everything… our insurance companyis awesome… then came CLC roofing… ugh.

So I call them and have them come out to look at my roof, they assure me they can take care of everything, they don’t want any money up front, and that their estimate on the page is the final estimate no matter what.

Sooo… here we are the middle of July… they showed up like a month or so… they had the stuff to do the roof part delivered a day later than they said they were going to, but they totally had five non english speaking people sit out on my lawn for the latter part of an afternoon waiting on the stuff to be delivered complete with blankets for their picnic… they were, of course out there on the wrong day…

they came out the next day and they finished the shingling part of my roof… they did do a good job, but that was just the beginning… we have a sunroom that needs its roof replaced as well… and they assured us that it would get done, and included it in the original estimate… but they apparently TOTALLY undershot it. so, they made us go back to the insurance and ask for more money… but not before sending out random people at random times to like do measurements, etc. They then tell me that it is taking my insurance company too long to get their info back to them, and they need a partial payment on the roof. So I was like what… you told me no prepayment, and you told me that you wouldn’t change the price… but you have done both… so i call my insurance company, and they have the money in my account within the hour… they were in NO way dragging their feet… I knew it…

So, that brings me to today… one week AFTER they told me that they would definitely have someone out to work on my sunroof they FINALLY show up. There is nothing I enjoy more than sitting around waiting on contractors to show up…

oh, so while I am actually sitting here typing this…. they have knocked over family heirlooms and broken them as well as the champagne glasses from my wedding… even though I asked them repeatedly if they needed me to remove anything from there and was told no.

Oh, and did I mention they still have gutters to do after this? yeah… CLC rooofng in Coppell Texas… skip it.
