But don’t let the size fool you, these new donuts taste exactly like the zebra themed cakes we all know and love.
So, ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to the new Zebra cake inspired mini donuts!
Made with yellow cake inside, smothered in vanilla frosting, and covered in fudge stripes to resemble the fan favorite Zebra Cakes.
The only thing missing is the fluffy white creme, but we have a feeling you won’t be missing the creme as much as you think after a bite or two into these nostalgic-like donuts.
“When you go into a donut shop in your neighborhood, you expect to see a wide variety of choices,” Hannah Stoker, the McKee food scientist responsible for the new treat, stated in a press release. “Some of the ones that always stand out are the doughnuts with stripes. The Little Debbie brand knows a thing or two about stripes, so it only made sense to develop Zebra Mini Donuts.”
