This Map Shows America’s Favorite Thanksgiving Pies And The Overall Results Are Surprising

When I say “pie” you say what?

Well the first word that comes to my mind when I think of pie is apple pie because it’s undoubtedly one of the best tasting pies in the world and also the best looking.

But I’m not here to just talk about apple pie, oh no, I’m covering all the bases of every single pie that families around the U.S. eat on Thanksgiving, at least the most popular ones that is.

According to GE Appliances, they’ve done the work for us and have officially issued the most favorite Thanksgiving pies within every state and it looks like Pumpkin pie, takes the cake, I mean pie!

It’s no surprise that Pumpkin pie is the overall favorite but let’s also consider the fact that Apple pie is the winner of the East Coast states while the south such as Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana favor Pecan pie.

However, four states out of the 50 couldn’t decide between pecan or apple which makes sense because like I said, it’s hard to beat Apple pie in the first place.

Pumpkin may have won this round, but there’s always next year folks.
