Mariah Carey Is Releasing A New Album Titled “The Rarities” And You Can Pre-Order It Now
I am about to really show my age here. Mariah Carey came out with her first album when I was in high school, and I was immediately obsessed!!
Can you believe that was *GULP* 30 years ago?!?
To celebrate this milestone of being — well, MARIAH CAREY — for 30 years, she is coming out with an album titled The Rarities and I’m fixing to go pre-order it!!
You can PROBABLY tell by the title, this isn’t going to be just a regurgitation of her hits. This is probably going to be stuff you haven’t heard before. Maybe some “B” sides, and some cool collabs that we haven’t previously heard.
It actually comes out October 2nd, but you can preorder it NOW on Amazon, Amazon Music, and through the iTunes store.
In a couple posts on Facebook and Twitter she says, “This one is for you, my fans.” She then goes on to say, “It’s to celebrate us, and to thank you for ? years of pure love and support. I am so grateful to you.”
We know there are going to be 15 tracks on the album — I CAN’T WAIT!!! And, we even get the song “Save the Day,” which is a previously unreleased collab with Lauryn Hill.
A bonus set adds an additional 17 songs recorded live at the Tokyo Dome in the ’90s, including “Emotions,” “Fantasy,” and “Forever.”
