To say I was obsessed with Ferris Bueller when I was younger, would be a gross understatement. I went through a period where I watched it nearly every day, and had the entirety of the movie dialogue memorized.

One of my absolute favorite parts is when Ferris decides to take out Cameron’s dad’s car — a mint condition red 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder convertible.

The best line in the whole movie, well one of them anyway, is when Cameron and Ferris are looking at the car in the garage, and Cam says, “My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love, it is his passion …” Then Ferris jumps in, “It is his fault he didn’t lock the garage.” LOL! Classic!!

So, I laughed out loud when I saw this new commercial for LiftMaster. It shows the iconic scene, but it is two different young boys — who really resemble the original actors.

The kicker, though, comes at the END of the commercial, when Alan Ruck (Cameron Frye) shows up, and catches the boys in the act.

“Been There, Done That,” he says, in a hilarious response to the juxtaposition of “his son” trying to take his car. LOL!!
