Stephenie Meyer Said There Will Be At Least Two More ‘Twilight’ Books And I Can’t Wait

Stephenie Meyer has announced that she has at least 2 more Twilight books planned for the series. *SQUEE*

You can admit it. I know you read through the entire new Stephenie Meyer’s book Midnight Sun in one day.

I’ll go ahead and admit that I enjoyed the book at a very rapid — got nothing else done that day — pace.

The book, the Twilight story from Edward’s perspective, sold more than a million copies upon release, as fans clamored for any new bit of Twilight they could get their hands on! It’s been more than 10 years, after all!!

It was finished too quickly, and I was left longing for more. I can’t be the only one who feels this way!

Well, never fear, Stephenie Meyer let it “slip” that she isn’t done with Edward and Bella. She has at least two more books outlined, and has written the first chapter of the next book.

Now, this doesn’t mean that the new books will come out, like, next month, but we know they are started.

There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write. I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it’s there. I am not ready to do that right now. I want to do something brand new.

So, this is double the good news. 1) She is working on two new Twilight books, and 2) She is working on a completely new project as well.

Have you read The Host? OMG. If you haven’t, go read it. It is a book she wrote after Twilight, and it is so good!! I love her side projects!!

So, chin up my fellow Twilighters — Twilighties? — there is newness coming on the horizon. We will get to see more of Edward and Bella! Maybe not as soon as we want — but it’s coming, and that’s good enough for me.

Just for fun, you have got to go check out these Twilight candles. They are the perfect edition to your Twilight collection!
