The ‘Friends’ Reunion Will Begin Filming in March and I’m So Dang Excited!

Oh man, I’ve missed Friends so much. I loved that show and my husband and I may or may not have watched it all the way through like 5 times at this point.
So, you can imagine how excited I am to hear that the Friends reunion will begin filing early next year as in, in March! Ahhhhh!
This information was confirmed when Matthew Perry, aka Chandler Bing, announced on Twitter that the reunion will now happen in 2021.
“Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!”
That is so exciting!
There was plans for the reunion to be filmed sooner but like with everything else, the virus ruined that plan.
Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman said they want a live audience for the special.
“This is a show that is not scripted, but this is the way the show works, we are going to need a live audience. Even if we socially distance that live audience, it really is a huge part of what ‘Friends’ is. We cannot do it without them. “

Once released, The Friends reunion special will air on HBO Max.
I seriously can’t wait. I need more Friends in my life!! Ahhhh!
