The Mrs. Claus Cocktail

For some people, spending a joyous Christmas with family is less about enjoying the warm fuzzies and more about sticking your claws into said joy and hanging on for dear life as that family does their best to drive you crazy. And yes, when I say “some people,” I mean me. And when faced with the riot of blinking lights and screaming children and literal piles of food that I have to deal with each year, I can only imagine what poor Mrs. Claus has to deal with up in the North Pole. Having that many elves running around hammering things together? There’s got to be a few work code violations in there somewhere. And don’t even get me started on Santa; hearing your husband mutter about naughty and nice for hours on end while he checks his extensive lists not once, but twice, has to take a toll on your sanity.

It seems to me that Mrs. Claus and I could really use a drink. Enter: The Mrs. Claus Cocktail.

What You’ll Need to Make The Mrs. Claus Cocktail:

• 2 ounces Kinky Liqueur
• 1.5 ounces Hennessy
• 1.5 ounces Amaretto
• White frosting (see our pro-tip below for a recipe!)

How to Make The Mrs. Claus Cocktail:

Swirl the inside and rim of a martini glass with white frosting.

In a martini shaker, pour the Kinky Liqueur, Hennessy and Amaretto over ice and shake vigorously.

Carefully strain into the martini glass and garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

Serve and enjoy!

Pro-tip: To make the white frosting, combine a 1/2 cup of powdered sugar with 1/8 tsp of vanilla. Stir in milk in small amounts until you reach the desired consistency.
