Today Netflix Confirmed that A ‘That ’70s Show’ Sequel Is Coming That Is Based In The ’90s and I am so excited!
Aside from Friends, That ’70s Show is one of the series I can watch over and over again.
You simply cannot get enough of Red calling everyone “dumbass” ha!
According to reports, Netflix has ordered a sequel series to That ’70s Show titled That ’90s Show, with some of the original cast members Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp (who played parents Red and Kitty Forman).
Netflix has reportedly ordered 10 episodes of That ’90s Show, and is planning to film it in the multi-camera format of the original show.
So, what will it be about?
The synopsis for That ’90s Show describes it being set in “1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place, WI, kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.”
The show creators for That ’70s Show, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner, are writing and executive producing That ’90s Show.
So, what about the rest of the original cast?
As of right now, there are no plans for the rest of the original cast to return but who knows, as time goes on, we may see some cameos from the original cast.
