Amber Heard Said She Has Trouble Breathing at Night Due to Scar Tissue in Her Nose

As the trial continues for Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, Heard has recently alleged in the courtroom that her nose had been broken by Depp.

While Heard has alleged claimed that Depp had broke her nose after the 2014 Met Gala, Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez pushed back on the claim.

Heard responded by saying,

“For the record, I don’t know that it was broken,” Heard stated in court. “You should see what it looked like under the makeup.”

On Tuesday, Heard also noted to the jury that she has trouble breathing at night due to the scar tissue in her nose which she claims was broken by Depp.

Heard has also said that she has visited an ear, nose, and throat doctor because she has had issues with her nose following her divorce with ex-husband Depp in 2016.

“I have a significant amount of scar tissue in my nose,” Heard explained, continuing by saying that she has had “a significant amount of trouble breathing at night and I’ve been putting off having surgery for it.”

Although, objections from Depp’s defense team prevented Heard from telling specific conversations about her doctor visits to the jury.

During court, Vasquez showed a photo of Heard out at an event the next night without any noticeable damage to her nose seen in the picture.

Depp went on to sue Heard back in 2019 accusing her of defamation after a 2018 Washington Post op-ed writing that she was a domestic violence victim.

Even without using any names or referencing Depp in the writing, Depp says since it was inferred that he was the abuser, the alleges have damaged his career.
