‘Band Of Brothers’ Is Getting A Sequel And It Will Start Filming In March
How cool is this? Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks will be pulling together once again to bring us a 10 episode series as a sequel to ‘Band of Brothers’!
It’s been way too long, ‘Band of Brothers’ was released way back in 2001! This is super exciting!
This one is called ‘Masters of the Air’ and the first 3 episodes are being directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. Cary also did ‘No Time to Die’, the James Bond film.
‘Masters of the Air’ is based on the book by the same name that was written by Donald L. Miller. The series is being written by John Orloff who wrote ‘Band of Brothers’ and he is also the co-executive producer for the new series.
‘Masters of the Air’ is all about the true story of the American ‘bomber boys’. They were a major part of World War II.
In 1943, an American bomber crewman stood only a one-in-five chance of surviving his tour of duty, twenty-five missions. The Eighth Air Force lost more men in the war than the U.S. Marine Corps.

According to Deadline, ‘Masters of the Air’ will begin filming in London in March of 2021. The ‘Masters of the Air’ series will be an exclusive on Apple TV+ streaming service, as of right now there is not a release date.
