Billie Eilish Strips Down In This Video To Make A Statement About Body Shaming
Billie Eilish stripped down to her bra while performing as part of her tour stop in Miami.
Well — sort of.
Billie Eilish is usually known for donning completely baggy clothing.
This is a conscious decision on her part.
“I never want the world to know everything about me,” she said in an ad for Calvin Klein last year. “I mean, that’s why I wear big, baggy clothes. Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know?”

That all changed at the first stop of her North American tour, in Miami, FL.
There was a video of Billie projected between sets during this concert, and in this video, she makes a powerful statement about body shaming.
On the video, for the first time, we see what Billie looks like under those baggy outfits, and she has a message to go with the video.
As it plays, Billie gives a very personal monologue over the video. She confronts the stigma of body image, and I love her for it.

I didn’t think it was possible to love and respect her more, but she has proven what a class-act she really is. I applaud her motivation and stance on such an important issue.
