If you’re a serious Disney that feels like they live and breath all things Disney, this major announcement is for you!
Disney just announced plans for a community where Disney fans can actually live and it’s basically a dream come true.
Have you ever found yourself day dreaming about what it would be like to live at a Disney resort? How about inside a Disney Park?
Well, that dream could soon become a reality thanks to Disney’s new plans – a Disney themed community you can actually live in.
Earlier today, Disney made the announcement via a YouTube video.
Today we are announcing plans to introduce Storyliving by Disney, vibrant new neighborhoods that are infused with our special brand of magic. Each community will feature distinctively designed spaces, unique amenities and Disney’s brand of world-renowned service.
These master-planned, new home communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests and write the next exciting chapter in their lives — all while enjoying the attention to detail and special touches that are Disney hallmarks.
In the video, Disney explains that these communities will be made with the ideal Disney fan in mind.
The communities will be referred to as Storyliving by Disney.
Some communities will cater to 55 years of age and older (the older generation of Disney fans) while others will cater to families and the younger crowd.
The first planned Disney community will be located in Rancho Mirage which is just outside Palm Springs, California and located not too far from where Walt Disney himself once lived.
The community will be called Cotino.
These communities will have touches of Disney magic plus dining, private beaches, shopping, activities and even memberships to clubhouse amenities.
As of right now, no additional information has been released on whether you can rent or purchase homes in these communities but Disney promises to release more information soon.
What an exciting announcement and I cannot wait to hear more!
