During the temporary closure of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, the Disneyland Resort will be donating food. This makes me super happy!

They will be donating excess food to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Which as you can tell by the name benefits residents of Orange County.

They are following food safety guidelines. All excess dairy, fruit, packaged goods, banquet meals, and vegetables will be donated. So thankful for this! Good food should always be donated!

Food donation has been an ongoing mission of the Disneyland Resort since 2014. Under normal business operations, they donate prepared unserved food.

In fact, last year, the Disneyland Resort was able to provide over 20,000 meals to Second Harvest Food Bank. They couldn’t do this without the help of Disney VoluntEARS that support the mission of ending hunger.

This makes my heart happy! Now if we can we get a little bit of food over here in Texas because people have cleaned out our stores completely! A Texas store with no meat is pretty much unheard of!
