After the year we have all had, I am ready to just jump with both feet into the holiday season, and fill my cup so full of Christmas Spirit that it overflows onto everyone around me!

Netflix is leading the way, announcing movies like Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and The Christmas Chronicles 2, and they aren’t stopping there.

The streaming giant just announced that they are bringing out The Princess Switch: Switched Again just in time for all your Christmas movie binge watching marathons, and I’m so ready!

You might remember when the original The Princess Switch burst onto the Holiday scene, way back in 2018 (doesn’t 2018 feel like 8 years ago?).

It starred Vanessa Hudgens as both Stacy, a baker from Chicago AND Lady Margaret Delacourt, a dutchess from the Kingdom of Belgravia.

The two bump into each other when Stacy goes to Belgravia for a cooking competition. Stacy and Margaret are shocked at how much they look like each other, and they cook up (see what I did there?) a scheme to switch places.

You see, Margaret is so burned out from her duties as Dutchess, that she just wants a little bit of a break from her chaotic life. Stacy agrees to switch places with her for two days — just enough time to come back together for Margaret’s wedding, and for Stacy’s baking competition.

As you can imagine, things don’t go exactly as planned.

The two ladies eventually have to come clean about their switch, and things happen, people fall in love, and proposals are made.

If this story sounds a bit familiar, you might remember there is a little story called The Prince and The Pauper by Mark Twain, which is about — you guessed it — the prince and the pauper switching places.

The Princess Switch is a modern take on the old Mark Twain story, and it’s about to happen AGAIN!!

In The Princess Switch: Switched Again, Vanessa Hudgens plays THREE people — talk about a tough gig! She is pulling triple duty.

There is Stacy — who is now a princess — Duchess Margaret — who is floundering in her romantic relationship — and we get introduced to Fiona — who is the wild cousin of the Duchess.

When Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with boyfriend Kevin, it’s up to her double Princess Stacy of Belgravia to get these star-crossed lovers back together… but the course of true love is complicated by the appearance of a handsome royal who’s intent on stealing Margaret’s heart. Throw in the unexpected arrival of Margaret’s outrageous party girl cousin Fiona, a third look-alike who has ambitions of her own, and you have the recipe for Christmas triple trouble!

Of course all three look like each other, and switches are going to happen. Hilarious complication are going to ensue. And, I can’t wait for it all!!
