By now millions of American’s have received their 3rd stimulus check but so many still believe it is not enough.

In fact, there are many members of Congress don’t feel like it’s enough either and have brought up the idea of regular stimulus checks or 4th round.

According to Politico, some Democratic members of Congress do not feel a third stimulus check is enough.

Apparently, two months before the new relief package was signed, 50 Democratic members of the House of Representatives signed a letter asking President Biden to prioritize recurring direct checks instead of one-time stimulus payments.

The letter published by Politico states,

“Another one-time round of checks would provide a temporary lifeline, but when that money runs out, families will once again struggle to pay for basic necessities. One more check is not enough during this public health and economic crisis.”

And honestly, they are not wrong.

People are still losing their jobs and homes and basically everything they have.

And if we look at other countries such as Canada, they are providing monthly checks to help their citizens stay afloat during the pandemic.

In a January press release, Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota stated, “A one-time payment of $2,000 is simply not enough. The American people are counting on us to deliver transformative change, and we need to meet the moment by delivering monthly payments of $2,000.”

So, as of right now, there is talk and support for another round of stimulus checks or even reoccurring stimulus checks.

For now, we don’t know much other than that but let’s hope they figure out a solution to help American people get back on their feet.
