A ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ Reboot is Currently In The Works and Will Smith Will Be An Executive Producer

Y’all I am so excited!! I loved the Fresh Prince of Bel Air growing up!

Do you remember about a year ago when this trailer went viral for making a modern version of Fresh Prince of Bel Air? Well, it looks like it’s actually going to happen now!

Since the time the viral trailer above was released, there has been so much talk of a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reboot with a modern twist. I personally have been ALL for that!

Well, according to Comic Book, it looks like that will now become a reality in a new series that will be based around Morgan Cooper’s viral trailer.

Plus, Will Smith, will be an executive producer on the project! How exciting, right?

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, sources are saying it’s been in the works for more than a year, and Morgan Cooper will co-write the script as well as direct and co-executive produce the series.

So, when and where will we be able to watch it?

As of right now, Peacock, HBO Max, and Netflix are all in on the bidding process for the series. I am voting for Netflix personally because, well, it’s Netflix and they usually do Original Series right.

As of right now, there isn’t a release date but let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later. I am so excited about this series!
