Halloween just isn’t the same without some scary stuff happening, and this means haunted houses! There is nothing I love more than a good scare!

No worries though! Even with the pandemic, thanks to the internet we can still get our spook on with virtual trips!

I have a great list for you all! There are spooky places all over the world that you can visit right from the comfort of your own home virtually.

One of my favorites is the Winchester Mystery House! They have a new virtual tour of the Winchester Mystery House just in time for Halloween and it will only cost you $8.99!

My second favorite is The Paris Catacombs! I won’t be traveling to Paris anytime soon, but I can visit my favorite part for free anytime I want!

You can visit The Stanley Hotel from home right now! This is the hotel that inspired The Overlook in ‘The Shining’ by Stephen King!

Are you interested in witches and the Salem Witch trials of 1692? You can take a virtual tour to the witchcraft trial sites including witch houses and cemeteries courtesy of the Salem Witch Museum!

Maybe vampires are your thing? Bran Castle, located in Bran, Romania was the inspiration for Bram Stoker when he wrote his famous novel ‘Dracula’. You can take the tour of Bran Castle here!

How about some murder and mayhem? You can’t get much scarier than the Lizzie Borden House located in Fall River, Massachusetts.

You can check the Lizzie Borden house out online, and once this virus goes away, you can even spend the night!

Last, but certainly not least… the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is an old haunted prison. Most prisoners died while having virtually no human contact!

I hope this list of some of my favorite scary places kind of fills the void of missing out on traditional haunted house visits for Halloween. Let me know which ones are your favorites!
