The TSA Just Banned Jars of Peanut Butter On Planes And People Are Going Nuts
There are so many rules to fly on a plane these days.
One of my least favorites is that you can only take 3 ounce bottles of liquid in your carryon.

It kind of ensures that I have to check a bag — and pay the money for it. *Angry Face Emoji*
The TSA just added to the rule, and let’s see if you agree.

They declared that peanut butter is a liquid, and therefore you are limited to 3 ounces of the nutty snack.
Peanut Butter.

On what planet is peanut butter a liquid?
According to an Instagram post, the TSA is saying that Peanut Butter is a liquid, because it has no definite shape, and its shape is dictated by the container it is in.
I mean, I guess that is true.
But, come on now. It’s freaking peanut butter.

I have to have 100 grams of protein per day, and a lot of that comes from nut butters.
If I’m limited to 3 ounces of peanut butter in my carryon, I’m kind of in trouble.

Which has me questioning, if I split the jar of peanut butter up into 5 different 3-ounce containers, will they let me carry it on the plane?
That seems a little excessive, doesn’t it?

To make things even a little more weird, the TSA won’t limit the amount of FROZEN liquids you can take onto a plane.
WTF?!? But, peanut butter isn’t okay?
The world of social media is going a bit nuts over the TSA ruling.
What do you think? Should peanut butter be allowed on an airplane?
