HBO Is Releasing A ‘Hellraiser’ TV Series. Here’s Everything We Know.
The ‘Hellraiser’ movies were ones that absolutely made my skin crawl. Some of the scenes, ew. Pinhead was the ultimate evil character of torture.
HBO is moving forward on a TV series that is based on the Hellraiser movies.
This series will be directed by David Gordon Green, who is the director from Halloween. He will direct the pilot as well as other first season episodes.
The series is reportedly being written by Mark Vereiden (Heroes, Dardevil, Battlestar Galactica) and Michael Dougherty (Trick r’ Treat, X-Men United, Godzilla: King of the Monsters).
The series will be a continuation of the original ‘Hellraiser’ movies, which were inspired by horror writer, Clive Barker. The star? “Pinhead” of course!
