Today is the day – the day the former President Trump is the first former president in US history to be criminally charged.

While many details of his charges have been sealed until later today, we do know a few things.

To start, we know that Trump is expected to surrender himself to a Manhattan courtroom today.

As of yesterday, we learned that he will be charged with 34 felony counts including a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

We also know that Trump’s lawyers say he plans to plead not guilty and many are calling this a political stunt or “witch hunt”.

Sometime early afternoon today, The Secret Service is scheduled to accompany Trump to the District Attorney’s office in Manhattan where he will surrender himself.

From there, Trump will be booked by investigators and it may involve taking his fingerprints and taking his mugshot.

Although, many believe he will not face a traditional booking where he is handcuffed and a mug shot may not even be taken.

Once Trump has been processed, he will be taken to the Courtroom where the indictment will be unsealed and he will hear all of the charges against him.

Once the courtroom meeting is over, Trump is then expected to leave and head to the airport to head back to Mar-a-Lago where he is scheduled to speak publicly to supporters this evening.

There is a lot of unknowns until the indictment is unsealed but at least we sort of know what to expect today.
