I’ve always wanted to visit Italy. It’s been on my bucket list for a while now! I come from a BIG Italian family, so we practice the culture a lot!

My parents were even talking about going to Italy this summer for the first time back in January and I was super excited, but we’ve had to cancel due to the virus.

But that’s not even the worst part, Sicily is currently offering HUGE DEALS on travel right now and they’re basically dangling my “almost” summer vacay in my face!

As of recently, Sicily has offered to pay half of your flight costs, 50 PERCENT and a third of your hotel costs once lockdown laws begin to settle down.

And if that’s not enough, they also want to provide FREE tickets to selected museums and archaeological sites! UGH, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

The island is hoping this will bring back tourism and revenue for the country, as they have lost a total of $1.09 billion dollars since the island started lockdown in early March.

Once the country re-opens its borders again, you’ll need to visit this website if you plan on taking a trip.

So I’m pretty much screaming inside, because Sicily is basically offering my dream and paying for it too. Although I don’t know about you, but I just can’t seem to fathom traveling right now, and for a while too.
