This Little Girl Signs Her Entire Christmas Concert For Her Parents And It Is So Sweet

This is exactly the feel-good video I needed this holiday 2020 season!

This 5-year-old girl was apparently raised by deaf parents, and therefore her first language is ASL (American Sign Language).

I mean, that’s pretty cool in itself, but this little girl just made my whole Christmas season brighter by what she did onstage.

See, she was singing Christmas songs with her class (putting on sort of a Christmas pagent of sorts), and she wanted her parents to be able to understand what was going on on stage (remember, they can’t hear).

She takes it upon herself to SIGN along with the songs, as her classmates and her sing the Christmas carols.

She doesn’t act “put out” or “embarrassed” (like my kids would), she happily — and sometime goofily — signs right along with each and every song.

It is the sweetest thing EVER!!

I’m going to be honest, I watched the video about 20 times, just so I could learn to sign along with some of these songs. Ha!!

Now, I know, 2020 has done a number on all of us. I immediately cringed, because the kids are standing so close to each other, and there isn’t a mask in sight. I’m going to go out on a limb, and bet this video was from last year.

It doesn’t make it ANY less sweet, and I am so glad I got the chance to experience this little girl’s performance of the season!
