M. Night Shyamalan has a new movie coming out, and OF COURSE it is mysterious, a touch frightening, and a whole lot creepy.

I LOVE M. Night Shyamalan!!

Sure, he may have put out some films that did not-so-great in the box office.

But he ALSO brought us The Sixth Sense, The Village, and Signs — some of my FAVORITE movies EVER!

He has a real knack for completely sucking us in with his masterful storytelling, and then blowing the top off the ending that we never even saw coming!

His new movie, Old, is going to be more of that excellent storytelling, with a touch of his trademark creepy style.

It’s based on this graphic novel that I was given from my daughters — I read it, and the premise was so powerful, of these people that went to this beach and their experience that happens on that day in the beach… I thought it was very frightening and emotional, and the ideas just started coming —

It’s about this family who goes on a vacation to a very beautiful and secluded beach.

But, they start to notice weird things on the beach — stuff that is scattered and left by former beachgoers.

THEN, the kids start inexplicably aging, right before their eyes.

What started out as a six year old, all of a sudden looks to be a young teenager just minutes later.

The adults start to develop wrinkles right before the eyes of everyone around.

Something isn’t right — What is wrong with this beach?!?

When they try to escape, they start to black out.

It’s as if the beach KNOWS they are there, and wants to keep them in its grip.

This film looks terrifying and SO good!!

Old comes out July 23th, and this just might be the FIRST movie I go see in the theaters post COVID!!
