If Fifty Shades of Grey and Sex/Life had a baby, it might be Netflix’s new series.

So be prepared for a few, erotic scenes.

What’s dubbed Obsession, the new series is based upon Josephine Hart’s romance novel Damage and stars actor Richard Armitage and actress Charlie Murphy who are the center of this story.

The series tells the tale of the classic romance story where two people who want to be together, can’t, but of course their love and obsession continues to grow for each other anyway.

You know what they say, the heart grows fonder when you’re apart.

And that’s exactly what happens with these two, the longer they’re apart, the more they want, to be together and the increased secrets they keep from their friends and family.

Netflix most recently released a just under three minute trailer where we meet Anna and William who clearly have chemistry.

The only problem, is that Anna is dating William’s son Jay.

What’s supposed to be only an introductory dinner with the parents, turns into a full blown, heart throbbing romance between Anna and William who simply can’t deny the burning passion they feel for one another.

Even William’s wife has caught on, but it’s not for the reason you may be thinking.

We see William’s wife mention to her husband that she has a strange feeling about Jay’s new girlfriend and well, she’s half right.

Throughout the trailer, William and Anna simply can’t keep their hands off one another and the trailer ends with movie goers wondering how long they’ll be be able to keep their relationship from getting out.

Now is it hot in here or is it just me?

Netflix’s new romance series is set to release April 13.

Oh, and you can watch the trailer down below.
