Can we talk about Netflix’s new series about global outbreaks? Honestly, it’s eery. The timing couldn’t have been planned better and it truly made it hard to sleep last night after binge watching it.

If you haven’t heard, Netflix has released a new series called ‘Pandemic‘ and with everything happening with the Coronavirus right now, it’s the most eery timing.

In fact, I almost feel like Netflix knew something we didn’t. Like, how did they know something like this would happen so soon?

Maybe it was a coincidence? Maybe they jinxed us? Who knows…

The series follows a group of scientists and doctors that study global outbreaks and whether or not we are prepared for them.

Spoiler alert – we aren’t.

In episode 1 the show starts with a theory that we’re due for a new, fast-moving deadly virus.

Again – isn’t this eery how it’s sort of happening now?

Considering it’s been 100 years since a deadly influenza virus killed 50 to 100 million people, the doctors say it’s not a matter of IF but WHEN we are due for another virus with the same outcome.

As the show goes on, it follows a group that has been spending YEARS trying to perfect a vaccination that would make people immune to ALL influenza outbreaks which is HUGE.

The group has been funding their own research and has had success with their trial runs. They are just trying to get more funding in order to do human trials.

I don’t want to tell you too much because honestly, you just need to watch it.

It is very informative and honestly, a little scary. But it is worth watching.

This series is a must watch and truly will open your eyes to a Pandemic – possibly the one we may be experiencing right now.

You can watch the first season of Pandemic on Netflix now. You can also check out the trailer for it below.
