Netflix's New Spy Drama Stars Noah Centineo and It Just Took the #1 Spot

Netflix’s top ten ratings fluctuate almost as regularly as news shows are introduced.

And the new series to take the #1 spot right under from Wednesday is a new series called The Recruit starring Noah Centineo.

The series follows Owen Hendricks, (played by Noah Centineo), a newbie employee who has just been hired to the CIA as a lawyer.

Despite being a recent graduate, Owen is thrown into high stake scenarios during his first few days of being a new employee including a threatening letter known as “graymail” and even dodging bullets.

Centineo teases Owen’s character in the series,

“He thinks he’s working as a lawyer — the truth is you’re never just a lawyer at the CIA,” he explains. “There’s so many more things going on, and that’s the world we explored with The Recruit.” In fact, Centineo suggests the “learning curve” at the CIA is so high for Owen that it could “end with him dying or going to prison.”

Between uncovering the truth in cases he was given from the CIA, love interests, and even the fact that his roommate is his ex-girlfriend, it’s safe to say that Owen has a lot on his plate.
