Experts Say, The Notebook Found Near Brian Laundrie’s Remains May Answer Many Questions

Ever since news broke that Brian Laundrie’s remains have been found in Florida, I’ve been super upset.

For starters, I feel like if he committed suicide, he was a coward.

Secondly, his death means that many unanswered questions remain about what happened to Gabby Petito and she doesn’t get the justice she deserves.

According to reports, experts say, the notebook found near Brian Laundrie’s Remains May Answer Many Questions and surely hope it includes the details surrounding Gabby’s death.

Crime experts do say the notebook found near Brian’s remains may shed some light on the circumstances of his disappearance and the death of Gabby Petito.

“If that notebook contained, for example, information that could have been admissions, it could be projecting blame or rationalization, all that information could help in the determination,” former FBI profiler Jim Clemente said Thursday.

A source with knowledge of the investigation told CNN that the notebook was clearly wet when it was found outside of a dry bag but it is “possibly” salvageable.

“They are going to use any potential means to dry that out before opening it,” the source said. “They’ll be very careful with it.”

Mark O’Mara, a criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor, told CNN the FBI will have “some luck” retaining some of the notebook due to the advancements of forensic technology.

“So I think there’s going to be great information to come from that. Because even if there is bleeding amongst the ink and the pages, they have done a great job with even much older items that they find,” O’Mara explained.

Let’s hope for the sake of Gabby Petito and her family, that notebook contains some answers.

Brian obviously took the easy way out and it still angers me that he didn’t actually pay for his crimes but at least he can’t hurt anyone else.
