Last year it was all about the Marie Kondo method and honestly, I could never get on board. I tried, I really did but it just never stuck.
You see, the Marie Kondo method requires are these “goodbyes” and “thank you’s” to things. Not to mention the overly complicated folding and ya, I just don’t have time for that.
Fast forward to today where I’ve now binge watched every episode of Netflix’s newest show Get Organized With The Home Edit and I FINALLY have found the organizational method that speaks to my soul.
First off, I LOVE color. Everything in my life is colorful (mostly mint) but lots of color.
Secondly, I have a bit of OCD to the point where everything has to be an even number or things have to be perfectly aligned. Not to mention, the Home Edit organizational method is visually appealing.
It’s like a breath of fresh air when it comes to being organized. Ahhhhh!
Get Organized With The Home Edit teaches people how to organize their homes using fancy containers and organizing by color, by type of item or in sections that make sense.
I mean, I am just kicking myself for not thinking about this before.
Organizing By color? Amazing! By type of item? No brainer!
IT JUST MAKES SENSE.
Everything is also organized inside clear containers (for the most part) and labeled so you literally know where everything is at any given time.
No more shoving things into boxes or tossing things into the junk drawer to never be found again.
I LOVE IT!
If you are someone that feels like their house is constantly disorganized and caving in on them (me) then you will LOVE this organizational method.
You can watch Get Organized With The Home Edit on Netflix now. Also, I totally bought their book. You can order the The Home Edit books on Amazon here.
