A ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Reboot Is In The Works By The Producer Of ‘Riverdale’ And I Can’t Wait
You may just have to sit down for this news. We may be headed back to Rosewood, Pennsylvania, to see the Pretty Little Liars — or at least SOME sort of Pretty Little Liars!
Word on the street is that the show might be getting a spinoff, and I can’t wait!!
It’s been nearly FOUR YEARS since we found out the twisted and bizarre end to the Pretty Little Liars saga, and that’s entirely too long!
Riverdale showrunner (that’s a fancy word for the lead producer in a series) Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, is set to bring us the reboot of this super popular show, that was basically a game-changer for Freeform.
This spinoff is still in the very early stages, like it doesn’t yet have a script, a home, or any actors. BUT, Aguirre-Sacasa, himself, is set to pen the story, which I bet is going to be AWESOME!!
This wouldn’t be the FIRST spinoff off the show, Pretty Little Liars. There have actually been TWO spinoff series, which didn’t last more than a season. Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists were both cancelled after one season.
I have high hopes for this THIRD spinoff, however. It is hoped that it would find a home at the streaming network, HBO Max, where it joins an already established AWESOME lineup of television programming.
I can’t wait to get all wrapped up in a good Pretty Little Liars storyline!
