Sean Connery’s Wife Just Revealed He Struggled With Dementia Before His Passing
Y’all, this Sean Connery death is a hard one to deal with. He was so iconic and so ingrained in our pop culture.
Even if you hadn’t seen ANY of his movies, you knew who Sir Sean Connery was, right?
We are now learning, according to his wife, Micheline Roquebrune, the actor struggled with dementia before his death, at 90 years old.
This is so hard to wrap my head around. When I think of Sean Connery, I think of a strong, virile man — the man who beat out everyone on earth to win the title of Sexiest Man of the Century in 1999.
Micheline, who was Sean’s wife of 45 years, says that Mr. Connery’s struggle with dementia had been hard on him at the end, and the struggle had really taken its toll on his life.
It was no life for him. He was not able to express himself latterly.

Luckily, he passed peacefully in his sleep while he was at home in the Bahamas. It wasn’t traumatic or difficult. He didn’t have to suffer a long drawn out death. He was able to be with Micheline up until the very end.
It was just so peaceful. I was with him all the time and he just slipped away. It was what he wanted
