How To Make Super Simple Macaroni Casserole You Can Eat Anytime Of Year
My grandmother used to make this macaroni dish for EVERY SINGLE holiday that the whole family celebrated together.
I have tweaked it over the years, and it has only improved in flavor. My kids actually beg for this dish, and they don’t eat ANYTHING!!
The green chiles and the garlic clove are my secret additions, and now I won’t make this dish without adding these ingredients to the mix.
If you don’t know what green chiles are, you can get them right on the Walmart website.

Ingredients
- 8 oz Elbow Noodles
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheese (plus some for the top of the macaroni)
- 1 Can Green Chiles
- 1 Clove Garlic (Minced well)
How To Make Super Simple Macaroni Casserole
* Cook the elbow noodles according to the package directions. When done, drain them well, and put them back in the pot you cooked them in.
* Add all the remaining ingredients to the noodles, and stir well.
* Resist the temptation to eat the whole thing now.
* Pour the macaroni mixture into a 9 x 13 baker, and top with some more shredded cheese.
* Place it in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
* If it’s not browned to your liking, cook it a little longer.
* Let it rest at least 10 minutes out of the oven before you dig in!
If you want to add come cooked chicken or cooked beef, it takes this dish from something you eat as a tasty side, to the main feature! It is fantastic
This dish is so good in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. I will make this pretty much ANY time of year. It is so easy, and so tasty!
This year, this dish will definitely be beside the turkey on the Thanksgiving table. We are going to do all our favorites, and this macaroni dish is unquestionably in the top 10 of yummy side dishes!

- Place mixture in a 9×13 baker, and top with more cheese.
