This Texas Mother Has Been Arrested For Leaving Her Young Children Home Alone For 2 Months

I have teenagers, and I freak out if they are home alone more than a couple hours without checking in.

I can’t even imagine leaving 2 young children home alone for 2 months, but that is exactly what this Texas Mother did.

Raven Yates allegedly left her 12-year-old daughter and her 3-year-old son home alone from September 8 until November 14, 2022.

Yates was holed up in Mobile, Alabama with a male friend, while her kids were left at home to fend for themselves.

Authorities were alerted to the situation by the young girl’s father, who lived out of state.

Apparently, she kept asking her dad to send her food.

You might be wondering why the school system didn’t catch onto the situation.

Well, Raven doesn’t have her kids enrolled at school.

Mom of the year, right?!?

Raven is currently in an Alabama jail, awaiting extradition to Texas.
