Three Ways to Make Your Morning a Little Sweeter

I think it’s time I admitted something. The morning mood in my house depends entirely on me. I have tried to blame it on everyone else, but that just isn’t the case. Ninety-nine times out of 100, if I wake up my daughter with a smile and a laugh, she starts her day the same way.

So, I have a couple of tips and tricks in my house that I use to make our mornings a little sweeter.make your morning a little sweeter

How to Make Your Morning a Little Sweeter

1. Surprise them with new clothes. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive or over the top. Silly socks or even a cute hair accessory always go over really well at my house, and it’s fun to wear something new to school!

2. Do something silly for breakfast like adding a smiley face to your Toaster Strudel™ pastries, (which are celebrating their 30th birthday by putting 30% more icing in all their packages) or even adding a little note to your kid’s plate.

3. Make their bed. When they get up to get ready for school, pop in and make the bed. It will be one less thing they have to do in the morning!

These are some super easy things I try to do if I have some extra time in the morning that make everyone’s life a little sweeter. Remember, a smile goes a long way!
