Trump Just Conceded and Promises A “Smooth, Orderly and Seamless Transition of Power”
This is BIG NEWS and one that I NEVER thought I’d see happen!
As of an hour ago, Trump has conceded during a prerecorded video he filmed and posted on Twitter.
In the video he begins saying,
“Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem. I immediately deployed The National Guard and Federal Law Enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders. America is and must always be a nation of law and order.”

He then continues with saying:
“A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power.”

I have to be honest and say, I never thought I’d see the day.
I completely thought that they’d be dragging Trump out of the White House on January 20th aka Inauguration Day.
I am glad he FINALLY came to his senses and conceded. I am glad he FINALLY spoke up about the outrage yesterday but it saddens me that it took him this long.
It took people dying during yesterday’s events for this to happen and that will forever rub me the wrong way.
But it is what it is and I surely hope America can begin to heal.
