Wendy’s Is Changing Their Fries, So Maybe I’ll Like Them Now

I quit liking Wendy’s fries when they changed them back in 2010.

When they changed them they introduced natural-cut french fries, seasoned with sea salt… I was good with the sea salt, but something about the new fries I just didn’t like.

That was the first time the fast-food restaurant had changed its fries… like EVER.

I’m kind of picky when it comes to french fries, in fact, my favorite french fries are from Whataburger… so GOOD!

Wendy’s is taking a big risk making this change because its french fries are the most popular item on the menu!

The Wendy’s french fry recipe will change in September, so don’t be surprised when things taste different.

According to CNN, Wendy’s is changing the recipe to create french fries that can retain more heat and stay crispy longer.

The reasoning is that more people are ordering at drive-thrus and using food delivery services since coronavirus came about.

A lot of the design characteristics are built around making sure that we can serve a hot and crispy fry every time, no matter how you choose to access Wendy’s.

Kurt Kane, the president of Wendy’s, told CNN

They say that the new fries recipe will leave the french fries looking the same, but they will taste different.

I’m hoping that the taste is improved since I wasn’t a fan of the last recipe.

They are going to be using a batter system to help maintain the crispiness and I seriously can not wait to try them!
