You Can Make A Baseball Board To Celebrate The World Series
Who’s following baseball this year? Who’s your team of choice?? I have TWO based on where I’ve lived in my life: The Dodgers and The Texas Rangers.
We don’t yet know who’s going to be in the World Series, as it’s a month away, but we can totally start planning our World Series parties now!!
When you think of BASEBALL, what do you think of? For me, it’s 100% the food!!
Peanuts and Cracker Jacks even made it into the song “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.” — Tell me you didn’t just sing that!
And, there is NO WAY to go to a baseball stadium without getting a hot dog or two. I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement for sitting in the stands.
So, just think if you combined all those tasty treats into one fun food board for your World Series party!!
The best part of the whole thing is, there aren’t really any rules besides having fun baseball foods. There is literally no way to screw this up. You can get as creative or basic as you want, and it’s still going to be fun for everyone!
How to make a Baseball Board
Start with a big ol’ board. You can use one of these wooden serving trays with handles. You might even be able to get one that matches your team’s colors!
You can even use one of these divided plastic serving trays. It’s totally up to you!!
Then, you just brainstorm every food that reminds you of baseball, and arrange it on the tray.
You HAVE to have hotdogs. Of course, grilled dogs are the best, but sometimes we just don’t have time for that.
To make it totally fun, Cracker Jacks, or even just caramel corn can be included. Or, if you don’t like caramel corn, leave it off. Your choice!
A lot of the players munch on sunflower seeds during the game. Maybe add some sunflower seeds or chips to the board.
It might be fun to include soft pretzels or peanuts in the shell on your baseball board.
You can even decorate it with some baseball cookies, or get all fancy with some Baby Ruth candy bars!!
Heck, you could even throw it all out the window, and just go with a tasty traditional charcuterie board decorated in your favorite team colors.
Like I said, there are LITERALLY no rules. Just make it fun, and something that you would want at your World Series party.
THEN, when the World Series is over, you can start planning your Halloween Party Spooky Halloween Board!!
