Perhaps the most touching part of the Oscars every year is the In Memoriam segment.

This year, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, performed the song “Yesterday,” written by the Beatles, to accompany the pictures of those we have lost.

It was a perfect, touching moment.

Hollywood lost so many wonderful people this year from Doris Day, to Kirk Douglas, to Peter William Mayhew — Chewbacca from The Star Wars saga — and, of course, Kobe Bryant.

We touchingly saw all their names and faces on the big screen as Billie’s beautiful voice carried them into our hearts.

Watch the gorgeous tribute, below.

  1. Amazing action I must admit.
A while ago, Rihanna recorded Bob Marley’s “redemption song” and donated the proceeds to victims of the Haiti earthquake.
This is a great action in such a direction that deserves commendation.

Great job and well done drawing our attention to this development.
