That’s right, I just used a twitter hashtag in the title of my post. Let’s just move past that, shall we?

I am going to spend the rest of the week getting my book into shape so I can send it off to beta readers.

But, I need two things from you… (What, you thought I was just going to let you off the hook? PSHAW.)

  • Words of Encouragement- Seriously, don’t you just do things better when you have a cheering section?

  • Volunteers to beta read. I would like to get a couple of fresh opinions on this book, so if you’re interested either email me mail@totallythebomb.com or leave me a note in the comments below.

Now, here’s the thing… I probably won’t be able to return the favor. I *might* have time, but I can’t guarantee reading reciprocity. So, if you want to read and give me your feed back–all while getting nothing in return–then this is for you!

  1. Good luck with the writing push! The only cheers I remember from high school seem to Push ’em back & Rebound which are just not what you’re looking for – so I’ll just say, ‘Go Jamie!’ 🙂

  3. Jamie I love your picture! =) (I finally found your blog! I’m way excited.) Congrats being almost done! Sweet!

  4. Am very lime green jello, and yet also inspired. This is my first time with the beta experience, and it’s been eye opening, to say the least. I’m hoping you’ll give us a post on exactly how this relationship is supposed to work, and how it’s to be approached once the verdicts are in.

In the meantime…I hope the reads go well and revisions are short and sweet!

  5. Hey, girl! How fantabulously awesome that you’re in the final stretch! Keep on keeping on, missy. Then go enjoy you some WoW. ‘Cause that’s what it’s all about.

I would love to beta read for you–even if you can’t read for me. *sniffle*

  6. I’d love to beta read your book, but I have to finish my revisions before the kids are out of school for the summer.

    Love the sign, btw. 🙂

  7. How exciting that you’re on the home stretch!! You should definitely celebrate with some WoW once you’ve survived this week. You’re an author, so you’re naturally awesome! You’re story will be amazing and everyone will love it once you’ve finished polishing it. (That’s my stab at encouragement. lol.)

But if the voice in your posts is anything like what’s in your stories, then they will be totally awesome. seriously.

  9. When would you need the read? I really enjoyed what I saw of Sketch’s story, so I’d be happy to do it, but I’m gone this week to RT.

      1. @Jamie Harrington, LOL I figured it wasn’t Sketch. That was more of an “I like your writing style” comment 😛
