Cloris Leachman, the Oscar-winning actress who has been in the spotlight for decades has died from natural causes in Encinitas, California at the age of 94.

“It’s been my privilege to work with Cloris Leachman, one of the most fearless actresses of our time,” her longtime manager, Juliet Green, said in a statement.

The family of Cloris Leachman asks the public that any donations in her name may be made to PETA or Last Chance for Animals as the actress was passionate for advocating animal rights.

Besides from her iconic role in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and its spinoff “Phyllis”, she also starred in “The Facts of Life,” “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Raising Hope.”

The popular actress has won 8 Emmy awards in her lifetime, tied for the most all-time award and won one Daytime Emmy Award.

And let’s not forget about the oldest contestant on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” in 2008 where she was absolutely unforgettable!

Along with many other famous roles Ms. Cloris Leachman acted in on the big screen, she is nothing less than an amazing role model for the older and younger generations.

Our hearts go out to the Leachman family.
