If you’re tired of mixing the same hot cocoa powder in a steaming cup of milk that seems to never really melt all of the way, try a crockpot instead.
How to Make Creamy Crockpot Hot Chocolate
This creamy crockpot hot chocolate recipe will fill the house with chocolate-y flavored aromas and your mug with a decadent taste.
Starting with four cups of milk, this recipe does not call for any powder.
Grab two cups of heavy cream along with one can of sweetened condensed milk.
Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract, one cup of milk chocolate chips, a half cup of sugar, a dash of salt, and nutmeg to taste.
Set your crockpot on low and allow everything to melt and simmer for a few hours.
When ready, grab a ladle to pour and fill as many mugs throughout the night! Enjoy!!
You can even top with some marshmallows and candy canes!
