Netflix Releases First Look at That 70’s Show Sequel Series
Ahhhh I am so excited!!
I’ve loved watching re-runs of That 70’s Show and looks like we will be getting more of it in a new spin-off series!
You may remember a while back a spin-off show (sequel) to That 70’s Show was announced but we had no idea what the plot was or who was going to be in it.
We’ve finally got some more information and this time, we know who the cast will be.
Netflix is the one working on the That ’90s Show which is the sequel to That ’70s Show.
According to Deadline, all of the original young cast of That ’70s Show with the exception of Danny Masterson will be appearing in the sequel.
In case you aren’t aware, Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde) was charged with 4 counts of rape and was arrested in 2020 which is why he will not be in the show.
Per the report, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama will all reprise their original roles in what is described as “legacy cast making special guest appearances.”
Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will both be in it and will also be executive producers on That ’90s Show.
That ’90s Show picks up 15 years after the series finale of That ’70s Show and Netflix describes the series as being set it “1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place, WI kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.”
Netflix has also given us the first look at the new series which is an image of Kitty and Red sitting at the famous kitchen table.
Can you just see it now? Red about to say, “Dumba**”. LOL!
Ahhh I am so excited and cannot wait.
As of right now, no word on when it will be released but when it is, it will be streaming on Netflix.
